In order to best connect the curricula and learning outcomes of its fields of study with the development needs of the northern Mazovia region, and above all with the needs of employers, the University establishes and maintains contacts with many entities of the socio-economic environment. Bearing in mind the care of maintaining good relations with our Partners from the socio-economic environment, we are constantly trying to conduct a dialogue in order to get to know their needs and work out areas for further activity. Relations with entities from the economic sector as well as the public administration sector play an important role in the development of the University.

The University cooperates with the socio-economic environment in creating, implementing and improving study programmes. The priority of cooperation is to verify the curriculum assumptions along with the assumed learning outcomes acquired by students and graduates in the course of philological studies in relation to market demand. Consultations are carried out, in particular, on the basis of a system of surveying external stakeholders, which allows to obtain the opinion of the largest possible research group, and also facilitates the comparison of the results obtained. External stakeholders are a group of potential employers.

Cooperation with the socio-economic environment also results in the staffing of classes and modification of the content of education by academic teachers with professional experience. Representatives of external stakeholders are involved in conducting classes and workshops.

As part of the internships, the University cooperates with primary schools, the international cooperation office, enterprises from the public and private sectors, and local government organizational units.

Cooperation with the socio-economic environment, apart from that related to the study programme, includes, in particular, inviting their representatives to meetings with students, study visits with the participation of practitioners, as well as the organisation of conferences.

The University of Linguistics and Technology in Przasnysz participates in activities for the benefit of the socio-economic environment. Activity in this area concerns the organization of trainings and conferences, m.in. for primary school staff with the participation of foreign practitioners at the national and transnational level in the field of education. The university is involved in social programs by organizing workshops and language camps for children and young people with the participation of foreign practitioners.

External stakeholder → the University

Cooperation with our University can be established:

1) in the area of professional student internships (as an apprenticeship)
Among the possible forms of cooperation, two options are distinguished: institutional cooperation (permanent) and individual cooperation (acceptance of a specific student for an internship).
Internship places are welcome: translation agencies or institutions and workplaces employing translators, international cooperation offices, primary schools, language schools.
2) cooperation in the design, implementation and improvement of study programmes (as an evaluator/participating representative of the socio-economic environment)
In this area, we ask you to verify the curriculum assumptions along with the assumed learning outcomes acquired by students and graduates in the course of philological studies in relation to market demand. You are therefore acting as a future employer.
Representatives of the socio-economic environment also take part as guests in meetings of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Przasnysz.

3) meetings with students, conferences, scientific seminars (as a speaker)
In this area, you can act as an invited guest. You can tell us about the professional area in which you specialise, present an interesting legal issue or explain your profession.

If the presentation is to take on a more scientific character, we invite you to actively participate as speakers in conferences and scientific seminars organized by the University.
