About this course

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES: ENGLISH IN EARLY CHILDHOOD AND PRESCHOOL EDUCATION FOR PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

FORM

Studies are conducted on a part-time basis in the form of weekend meetings (Saturday, Sunday) in accordance with the schedule of postgraduate studies.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Participants of the programme may be persons with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and who are qualified to work as a teacher of preschool education and early school education

PURPOSE OF STUDY

  1. Improving teachers’ competences in the field of English language skills and knowledge of English-speaking countries
  2. Methodical preparation of teachers of preschool education and the first stage of education (grades I to III of the primary school) to teach English

BENEFITS FOR PARTICIPANTS

  1. Improving the level of English language proficiency.
  2. Obtaining methodological qualifications to conduct English classes in kindergartens and at the first stage of education (in grades I-III of the primary school)
  3. Possibility to take the international PTE General exam at the B2 level organized by the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, which is an accredited Center
  4. Pearson Exam Board.

Obtaining the international PTE General certificate at the B2 level (according to the guidelines of the Council of Europe CEFR) will allow kindergarten teachers to teach English in kindergartens and primary schools (grades I-III), as until 1 September 2020 people working with children in kindergartens are obliged to complete and document qualifications in the field of knowledge of a modern foreign

Registration is ongoing!! The number of places is limited. The order of applications is decisive. Limit of places 25 people.

registration fee 100 PLN, tuition
fee 1600 PLN per semester

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • personal survey,
  • a copy or photocopy of a master’s or bachelor’s diploma,
  • two ID photos
  • proof of payment of the application fee.
