THE FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LINGUISTICS AND TECHNOLOGY IN PRZASNYSZ INVITES YOU TO POSTGRADUATE STUDIES “ROAD MANAGEMENT – MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION”

Studies are conducted on a part-time basis in the form of weekend meetings (Saturday, Sunday) in accordance with the schedule of postgraduate studies.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Postgraduate studies are addressed to graduates of civil engineering and all related studies, as well as economic, financial and legal faculties. To become a postgraduate student, all you need is a bachelor’s or engineer’s degree.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STUDIES
Postgraduate studies in the field of “ROAD MANAGEMENT – MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION” equip graduates with theoretical knowledge about materials and technologies for the construction of road surfaces and enable them to gain specialist competences in the field of investment planning and construction, modernization and technical maintenance of roads. The aim of the studies is to educate graduates in the field of acquiring skills necessary for road traffic management; developing management and implementation skills as well as assessing the positive and negative effects of road investments; familiarization with legal standards in the field of road law and the principles of ongoing control of the technical condition of maintenance and operation of roads.
The studies are conducted on a part-time basis – 2 sessions a month
AIM OF STUDY:
The aim of the postgraduate studies is to educate graduates in the field of acquiring skills necessary for road traffic management; developing management and implementation skills as well as assessing the positive and negative effects of road investments; familiarization with legal standards in the field of road law and the principles of ongoing control of the technical condition of maintenance and operation of roads

- is able to obtain information from literature, databases and other properly selected sources
- can plan and carry out experiments, interpret results and draw conclusions,
- is able to lead teamwork
- is able to select appropriate construction materials and products,
- can plan and carry out experiments, including measurements and computer simulations, interpret
- obtain results and draw conclusions,
- is able to select appropriate materials and construction products in the field of construction.
ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE STUDIES:
There is a completion of first-cycle, second-cycle or 5-year master’s studies, as well as the presentation of a diploma of completion of the above-mentioned studies and the submission of relevant documents available at: http://www.wsjoprzasnysz.edu.pl/
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- class attendance (80% class attendance is required)
- passing all subjects (appl.)
- final exam (a test for the grade in a block of subjects, which will be conducted at the end of the second semester according to the list of topics covering the full range of material)
FEES:
- PLN 7,000.00 – one-time fee for two semesters / possibility of payment in installments

STUDY PROGRAM:
It meets the requirements set out in the Act of 27 July 2005. The Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 164, item 1365 and as amended) and is consistent with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Development of 12 June 2014 on the minimum curriculum requirements for postgraduate studies in the field of real estate valuation (Journal of Laws of 24 June 2014 (item 826).
Duration: 2 semesters
Number of hours: 200 hours
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- personal survey,
- a copy or photocopy of a master’s or bachelor’s diploma,
- two ID photos,
- proof of payment of the application fee.
