REAL ESTATE VALUATION – POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

 

Postgraduate studies in real estate valuation are intended for graduates of construction-related faculties, as well as for people who have obtained an engineer’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance and law. Candidates who meet these criteria are offered the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and gain the information necessary to perform the work of a real estate appraiser.

 

We will teach you how to determine the value of a property based on the analysis of construction, financial and legal documents. We will prepare you to inspect buildings and estimate their value based on empirical experience. The real estate appraiser course, which you will actually take during your studies, will also enable you to take a broader perspective and estimate the value of real estate also on the basis of external factors, such as geographical location, local development plans, potential of the building and its surroundings, social conditions related to the immediate vicinity of the building (e.g. reputation and security of the district), and even current urban planning trends and consumer behavior on the real estate market.

 

The knowledge gained during postgraduate studies in the field of real estate valuation will allow you to carry out the valuation process in a comprehensive and competent manner, with the satisfaction of all parties involved.

 

FORM OF STUDY

The Real Estate Valuation postgraduate studies are carried out in the mode of weekend classes, taking place two weekends a month. The program includes elements in the field of law and economics, technical issues and major subjects intended for future property appraisers.

 

WHO IS IT FOR?

Postgraduate studies are addressed to graduates of civil engineering and all related studies, as well as economic, financial and legal faculties. To become a postgraduate student, all you need is a bachelor’s or engineer’s degree.

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STUDIES

Postgraduate studies in the field of “Real Estate Valuation” prepare graduates for rational management of real estate, including, above all, the determination of its value. Completion of postgraduate studies in the field of “Real Estate Valuation” prepares students to work in central and local government administration units, development agencies, real estate agencies, consulting and advisory companies, as well as to run their own companies, as well as to evaluate real estate.

The studies are conducted on a part-time basis – 2 sessions a month

 

PURPOSE

The studies prepare students for the state exam enabling them to obtain professional qualifications in the field of real estate appraisal and to practice the profession of a property appraiser.

Upon completion of postgraduate studies, the graduate receives a certificate of completion of postgraduate studiesStudy program in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development of 12 June 2014.

As part of the postgraduate studies in the field of “Real Estate Valuation”, the graduate will acquire legal, economic and technical knowledge necessary for real estate valuation. Completed postgraduate studies in real estate valuation is one of the requirements for candidates for property appraisers who take the state exam giving the right to practice this elite profession.

  • conducting a real estate market analysis for the purposes of valuation
  • selection of the appropriate valuation approach, method and technique
  • preparation of a valuation document, i.e. an appraisal report
  • The attitudes and competences acquired by postgraduate graduates allow them to perform activities in the field of real estate valuation

A GRADUATE OF REAL ESTATE VALUATION

 

You will complete postgraduate studies in real estate appraiser richer with new knowledge and skills. You will be able to perform real estate valuation and analyze and forecast the processes taking place on the real estate market in Poland. You will learn how to interpret legal regulations and how to determine the technical and legal condition of the property being valued. We will teach you to apply appropriate research methods, techniques, and tools, taking into account the various variables you will encounter in your work. You will also be able to draw up the necessary documents correctly. You will also gain the basics of practical knowledge: you will learn how to calculate the area and volume of real estate, you will be able to draw up a renovation and modernization plan for a building.

 

CAREER PROSPECTS

 

Obtaining an education in the field of postgraduate studies in real estate gives you a wide range of competences, enabling you to take up employment in a wide variety of workplaces. You can apply for a position in the urban planning and planning departments of local government units or in related departments of government units. Real estate agencies, development agencies, construction and consulting companies will be happy to benefit from your experience. Lawyers, architects, economists, developers, social housing associations, as well as private sector companies with Polish and foreign capital will cooperate with you. PARTICIPANTS

The studies are addressed to people who want to become a real estate appraiser. In order to obtain a professional license in the field of real estate appraisal, it is necessary to have a university degree without restrictions as to the level and direction.

ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE STUDIES: is the completion of first-cycle, second-cycle or 5-year master’s studies, as well as the presentation of a diploma of completion of the above-mentioned studies and the submission of relevant documents available at: http://www.wsjoprzasnysz.edu.pl/

 

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • class attendance (80% class attendance is required)
  • passing all subjects (appl.)
  • final exam (a test for the grade in a block of subjects, which will be conducted at the end of the second semester according to the list of topics covering the full range of material)

FEES:

  • PLN 4,200.00 one-off fee for two semesters / possibility of payment in installments – 2 installments x PLN 2,100
  • entry fee: 100 PLN

 

STUDY PROGRAM:

It meets the requirements set out in the Act of 27 July 2005. The Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 164, item 1365 and as amended) and is consistent with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Development of 12 June 2014 on the minimum curriculum requirements for postgraduate studies in the field of real estate valuation (Journal of Laws of 24 June 2014 (item 826).

Number of hours: 294 hours

  • personal survey,
  • a copy or photocopy of a master’s or bachelor’s diploma,
  • two ID photos,
  • proof of payment of the application fee.
